Is Your TN850 Cartridge Emtpy?
One thing that many printer users have been grateful for in the past is having a little bit of time to go out and buy a new toner cartridge when the current one runs low, but unfortunately when your tn580 cartridge for Brother printers runs out the printer stops working entirely, leaving you high and dry until you can run to the office supply store and shell out the money to buy a new one. This can be a real disaster for people who were not expecting the event to happen, or who have simply been ignoring the warnings their printer has given them until now. However, fortunately for people in this unfortunate situation there is a cure, and you can have your printer up and running again in moments.
Sound too good to be true? Well, to some extent it is. See, in order to convince your Brother printer to keep pulling toner from the TN580 you will need to convince it that the cartridge is still full, and doing so will ultimately reduce the quality of your printing as the toner gets lower and lower. In general it is always best to buy a new cartridge rather than stretching out the lifespan of the existing one. However, if that is not possible in your situation the solution to the problem is really quite simple: you need to make the cartridge look like it is still full. This is accomplished by removing the toner cartridge from the printer and examining it to find a small plastic window on the side. Once you have located the window cover it up with a piece of black electrical tape or some other material that will block a laser from shining through the window, thus telling the printer that there is still toner left in the reservoir. Then simply replace the cartridge in your printer and try printing a few test pages to determine printing quality.
Remember, this is a very temporary solution to your problem, you will still need to go buy a new toner cartridge or refill kit soon. Refurbished or compatible cartridges retail for much less than the genuine original equipment manufacturer cartridges, and refill kits are usually even less than those but come with their own problems. Make sure to do your research before buying anything and you could save a ton of money in the process.
